As we all know , Plurk is a micro-blogging website , so its main purpose is share the emotion and express your feel to other people , it can be a kind of stress releasing method . Plurk also meant for some businessman who use plurk's Live blog to do representation or meeting with other people . Plurk also a place for users to post their idea and let other users comment , so that the user can improve its idea , making a satisfying answer about it .Example : A artist try to draws a certain topic of draw to participate a contest, so he posted out the topic , others who has idea with , can comment with their ideas . Plurk bring people closer , make user's range of friend wiser , because u will find some other people who are having the same interest with and befriend him/her.
Another purpose of plurk is to contact other people . Because maybe you can't communicated through phone (expenses ,or etc.) , plurk is free of charge , so you use as mush as you can . sometime you can find someone who you already lost contact on , maybe few month to few years , you can recontact him if you wanted.

More Advantages and Disadvantages of Plurk
Advantages of Plurk
-the karma system that other microblogging system does not have. Karma system can cause Plurk users to become more active in plurking because when your karma point reach until a certain number you can change ur creature and profile page title. Off course in order to increase your karma, there are some ways, by updating your profile pictures, log in to plurk and plurk daily.
-the timeline User Interface is also another part of originality and unique compare to others microblogging system. Its Timeline system shows yesterday or day after or todays plurk neither yours and your friends. Besides, is shows the time you plurk.
-You can also spam plurks to friends easily to anoyy your plurk friends. but note that! spamming plurks cause deduction of karma points!
-You can also view the hottest video or links in Plurks. it does not require to tag.
Disadvantages of Plurk
For other microblogging websites user..u might find it more disadvantages of plurk like i does..because u might used to your facebook, twitter, myspace, or friendster.
-the plurk private message are nice but it does not have notification to notify you like facebook. Its not convenient if there are no notification and you might not notice the plurk time to time.
-As we all knows, Plurk is not famous in Malaysia because its lack of promotion. Dislike other microblogging platform like facebook. Facebook is everywhere..newspaper, television news, web browser and advertisement. Plurk is unseen in anywhere is Malaysia >.<

The advantage and disadvantage of Plurk
Plurk is a micro-blogging network that user(plurker)can post somethings about the plurker...Plurker can post their status and dialy on the plurk...Plurker also can upload their photos on the plurk and user can add some friends from anywheres...such as,American,Singapura,Taiwan,England and etc...
The advantage of Plurk
On the plurk,have a constant chatter...Unlike other services where you have to go looking for replies,on plurk every reply sticks out like a red flag...Every time someone posts a message you can see how many people replied to it, and with one click, read all the replies like a threaded conversation.

Besides that,when u send the messages,u can easily read a large nmber of the messages at the same time...
When the plurker face the problems,plurker also can post the problem on their plurk...When user post the problems on the plurk,plurker will get the opinions of another plurkers...When get the opinions from the other plurkers,user can find a ways to solve the problems...Besides that,user also can use plurk to communicate the messages...

The Functions of Plurk
Plurk , which website is www.plurk.com
is a micro-blogging network that provide the user (Plurker) to 'plurk' new post about what the plurker's feel or what they are doing . It is also a social network which let the plurker to add friend , communicate with others . All update (known as 'plurks') will be added up to a unique timeline table which was made from JavaScript . User can use a single word of verb that represented your current thought , example : ( Like , Hate ,etc. ) . You can also comment on other people's plurks .
Similar to other social network like Facebook , user can post picture and video . I am a plurker too , I like its Karma system (it increase if you online to plurk and post new thread ,and decrease when you are not active in plurk), with karma system increased , you can change theme and make more changes .
Plurk also have dairy photo function

User can setup the status update whether to Facebook or twitter , so that every time you post an update on your plurk , the system will automatically post up the new status on Facebook/Twitter .It got a follower(fans) system and friend system , a follower system let you to follow some person that you interested with , he/she don't needed to be your friends . Other people who follows you can see your update on the website . On the other hand , friend system definitely mean that you and he/she are friend.
